The intention of ProjectGREENWell is to use Music, Poetry
and Art to inspire us as a Community, to help families and
other Communities adversely affected by natural disasters.
Our first target is New Orleans which was hugely affected
by Hurricane Katrina. Our plan is to raise funding by hosting
benefit concerts as well as via online and personal donations
to build new GREEN, self-sustainable and Eco-Friendly homes
for the families that are still living in FEMA trailers and
other temporary housing today.
Once our mission is completed in New Orleans, we will then
select the next organization to collaborate with. Other organizations
we would like to continue the movement with are YeleHaiti,
GlobalGreen USA, Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude's Children's
Research Hospital, Save Darfur and many others we will connect
with along the way in our journey.
Today, August 29, 2009, however, we mark the 4th anniversary
of Hurricane Katrina. We are remembering the tragedies that
occurred that fateful day and ProjectGREENWell is here to
remind you that there is still much to be done to restore
this city. So this is where we begin...
We would also like to commemorate this day, 51 years ago,
the day that Joe and Katherine Jackson gave birth to an icon
and a Master Philanthropist, Mr. Michael Jackson. We miss
you, Michael and we honor your memory by continuing the legacy
of what you have always aimed to do. That is to make the World
a Better Place... for You, for Me and the Entire Human Race.
We remember you, always. Happy Birthday beautiful one, you
will live in our hearts forever. ~ Diana "Chyna"
Smith
In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to
hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to
comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare
to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still
dare to believe. ~ Michael Jackson
And my goal in life is to give to the world what I
was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through
my music and my dance. ~ Michael Jackson
I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
although I know we've drifted far
What about yesterday
What about the seas
The heavens are falling down
I can't even breathe
What about the bleeding Earth
Can't we feel its wounds
What about nature's worth?
It's our planet's womb.
